7-Eleven, popularly known as Mart Market, an international retailer, plans to establish its 100th branch by the end of 2023, according to The Nation. The well-known department store has entered the Cambodian market since August 2021, opening its first branch in Phnom Penh.
Thailand’s CP All Plc, CP Group operates this small retail store in Thailand and is a licensed distributor for the 7-Eleven brand in Cambodia and Laos. This retail business has expanded its operations in Cambodia, and recently Macro Supermarket plans to open more branches, and Makro plans to establish 3 more branches in its 2026 plan.
Please be informed that the 7-Eleven retail store brand has 60 locations in Cambodia and will expand to 100 branches by the end of this year. As the Cambodian market is in high demand from consumers, the Cambodian economy is also growing.
7-Eleven also plans to open its first branch in Laos and add 700 more stores in Thailand. According to the plan, the budget for branch expansion should be around 11 billion to 12 billion baht.
